What Do The People Say? September '19 Survey Results

by Julia LiMarzi

For our September Bokksu we looked to the harvest moon for inspiration. There aren't any flashy fireworks for the Moon Festival, it's a quiet celebration of thanks for the year's harvest. To bring Japan's Moon Festival to our Members, we curated snacks inspired by the moon, the night sky, and the flavors of the harvest. Here's what our fabulous members thought!

Who Took the Survey?

This month, nearly 400 members from 39 different countries around the world, from Malta to Belgium, Denmark to Saudia Arabia, it’s always exciting to see how excited our community is about Japanese snacks! Meet others who enjoy snacking just as hard as you on our Facebook Group: Bokksu Unboxed!

Congratulations to our survey raffle winner this month, Anthony F.! Check your Bokksu account for 500 points!

And a big welcome to 20% who said this was their first box. We're so glad to have you!

The Results!

People were really excited with the theme of this month’s box, giving the Moon Festival theme a fantastic 4.6 average rating!

Sweet or Savory?

About 48.6% of snackers wanted even more sweet snacks while only 8% of snacks wanted even more savory snacks! But 43.6% said that the balance was just right!

I guess you guys don't like bean tea.

Great variety & delicious traditional flavours. Love that you put teas in too

The snacks tasted amazing! I love the theme of the boxes, and also how it is Japanese. I've always been interested in Japanese culture/food and this is a great way to immerse myself.

Love to try anything Japanese and this is the best I’ve found so far.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Moon Festival Box survey! Doing this helps us learn how to make our future boxes even better!
