Funwari Meijin Mochi Puffs: Black Syrup Kinako

Product Description

These airy Kuromitsu Kinako Mochi Puffs will melt in the mouth, leaving you with the delicious flavor of kinako (roasted soybean), brown sugar, and a hint of chocolate. The word kuromitsu literally means "black honey" or "black sugar syrup", and is the word used for Japanese molasses. These mochi are made with 100% Japanese mochigome rice, pounded and transformed with a unique patented process into lighter-than-air confections. Afterward, it is covered in brown sugar syrup, cocoa powder, and kinako powder for a sweet and nutty flavor.
