What Do the People Say? August '19 Survey Results

In August, we celebrated the thrilling summer festival season with our very own Fireworks Festival! Indulging in snacks that featured flavors like pickled ginger, yakisoba, and grilled corn, our Bokksu Buddies got transported to the food stalls of Japan that are best enjoyed under the shimmering fireworks in the night sky. Who Took the Survey?

This month, nearly 250 members from 36 different countries around the world, from Turkey to Croatia, Brazil to France, it’s always exciting to see how excited our community is about Japanese snacks! Meet others who enjoy snacking just as hard as you on our Facebook Group: Bokksu Unboxed!

The Results!

People were really excited with the theme of this month’s box, giving the Fireworks Festival box a whopping 4.6 average rating, with over 65% giving it a full 5 stars!

Sweet or Savory?

About 45.4% of snackers wanted even more sweet snacks while only 8.3% of snacks wanted even more savory snacks! But 45.9% said that the balance was just right!

The decadent White Strawberry was the crowd favorite, with Handmade Ramune and Black Syrup Kinako Warabi Mochi being the next favorite snacks, with more than 25.1% of people rating White Strawberry as their favorite snack this month!

I just love the surprise element and the variety of snacks.

Always a treat to discover and sample every month's new themed assortment of snacks and teas. This month's hanabi theme brought me back to my time in Japan going to a festival, sitting on a riverbank and watching the fireworks.

Every month I get to try something unusual in a good way. Some of the snacks are familiar and some are completely new to me.
