Mizudashi mugicha is literally cold-brewed barley tea. Marufuku tea is an original barley tea that has been deeply roasted to the core by roasting with low oxygen. By blocking oxygen and carefully roasting, they succeeded in bringing out a deep aroma, richness, and flavor that could not be achieved with ordinary roasting methods. You can taste the soft sweetness of barley with little acidity and the fragrant aroma immediately after roasting. Great for enjoying on its own, or alongside meals.
Brewing Instructions
Add 1 teabag to cold water. You can also easily add it to a water bottle for cold-brew tea on the go.
