Mizudashi (cold brew) green tea is the perfect drink to quench your thirst this summer. Mizudashi translates to “infusing with cold water” and is the method we recommend using for this sencha and matcha-mixed green tea that is best enjoyed cold to stave off hot weather. The unique combination of sencha (steamed green tea) and matcha will be the refreshing green tea power couple you never knew you needed!
Standard Cold Brew: Fill a pitcher with cold water and drop in the mizudashi tea bag and let it brew for at least one hour in the fridge or outside.
Quick Cold Brew: Bring water to a boil and drop in the mizudashi tea bag for a few minutes. The hot water will create a very dense tea concentration so pour over ice until tea color reaches the desired lighter shade and flavor.
